Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has set up an Institutional Mechanism for evolving/adopting standards for e-Governance applications. These Meta Data and Data Standards (MDDS) are developed following the guidelines set by the MeitY.
DigiLocker XML Certificate Formats
To make it easier for users to access their certificates in DigiLocker, we have standardized the format of commonly used certificates from multiple issuers. This document outlines the XML structure for these certificates.
